Pixi
In a move similar to the opening of Herman’s Hermits to The Rolling Stones, Palm has decided to announce the new Palm Pixi, a phone like the Palm Centro from yesteryear to the point of price and features, the same day that Apple will eat the rest of the cycle news.
The Pixi is a slider with touch screen and full keyboard. It will cost about $ 149 with two year contract and discounts on Sprint. It has 8 GB of onboard storage and takes 2-megapixel – against about 3 megapixels.
No Wi-Fi, a dealbreaker for many. The Pixi is available in several "Artist Series" style and will be available during the holidays.
